Aquatic Biology

So far we've been at Stone Lab for 3 days and it's been great. We have learned a lot of really cool information here, I am in the Aquatic Biology class and I am really enjoying it. A lot of the st uff we have learned is stuff you would think is common sense, but you never think about it until someone tells you. For example, one of the laws we learned about stated that a species can only survive to the least amount of nutrient available that they need, even if they have an abundance of all other nutrients. To me this sounded a lot like, you are only as strong as your weakest leak, which is something everyone knows about. Overral, we are learning a lot and working hard to try and remember it all, but it has been a lot of fun.

We were all screaming as we went into the fressing water. Even Mr. Dewit. That's how cold it was. I belive we are getting a Cd with the vedio of us screaming as we got into the water. You should all see it is funny.

Today Sunday I confused my Proffesor with a stranger. I asked this stranger when we were getting our test back. He looks at me and goes what? I ask him again. I say when do we get our test back? He says I don't know what your talking about? It was really funny and emabarrising. Everyone was laughing. You had to be there to see it and laugh it was hallarious.

Today is the last day here at stone lab. Some poeple are really happy to be leaving and some would give anything to stay. Although the coursework was stressful I think overall I, at least, had a good time.
I was placed in the aquatic biology class, we got to do alot of in field sampling. The water was really cold some of the time. Hanging with my friends was great and I even made some new ones. I now know a ton more about the aquatic life I often overlooked beforehand; Stuff about plankton and fish and how they relate to the echosystem.
